The “King Kong diversity-inclusion” was a theatre play that took place at ENSEEIHT. It was a fully interactive experience staging a group of three students during their school integration and a judge as the narrator. Each scene was showing us different actions (racism, sexism, sexual harassment...). After the scene, the judge will ask the public (us) to give our thoughts on the scene, first by asking a question that we had to answer (yes, I don’t know or no) by moving in the room. We could then take the microphone to give our opinion and discuss with other students and the judge.

It was a very interesting experience, that could really make us question certain practices that we may encounter when entering an engineering school. I think it is a good initiative to have proposed this experience, which will contribute in a certain way to reduce these problems still too often encountered. Also, independently of the message, I found the actors very good.

However I think that there is a problem of form with this piece. It's great to be able to vote, but when it comes to questions with only one socially acceptable answer (for example "is it normal to physically touch someone without their consent", a question to which of course the vast majority answers no, it's very difficult for people who don't agree (even if they should in my opinion) to be honest about their answer. Indeed nobody wants to be alone in this "camp". In this sense I sometimes found the form too moralistic.

Despite everything I have a very good impression of this experience and would recommend it for any university, high school...
